28 May 2009 - Max.net Global Benchmark Directory reaches 100!

(London, UK – May 28 2009) Max.net(UK) Ltd today announced the 100th entry in its free Global Benchmarking Directory only launched at the end of March 2009.

It is not always easy for those wishing to improve performance to access benchmarking data or connect with those providing benchmarks.

To help its customers wanting to participate in an ongoing (open) benchmark or see the results of a benchmark study (closed) benchmarks, Max.net created a Global Benchmarking Directory directory at the end of March 2009 and made it available with registration via its web site.

Updated regularly, the directory is searchable by geographic scope, industry sector, domain and benchmark type. All benchmark providers are able to submit their benchmark details free of charge.

"The directory is updated most day’s - says Giorgio Blengino, Operations Director at max.net – and the initial response to it has been very positive. There is a surprising range of benchmarking going on out there but some domains such as contact centres, IT and property are much more active than others. At some point we wll analyze the usage and try to undersatnd why this is the case and how benchmarking can be more widely aplied."

Max intends to extend and improve the service in the coming months, including direct input by benchmark providers.

The service is free of charge and available at http://www.max-net.co.uk, registration required.
